Description

Simple and handy extension designed to display quotes, ads, news, or special offers in any place at your website. The extension replicates a Magento standard widget. This is what provides Random Quote with advantages and flexibility of a Magento widget.

The quotes are animated, look informative and natural, and don't disturb customers.

The extension supports unlimited number of the quote widgets. Each can include its own set of quotes.

Random Quote Widget comes with an example widget featuring quotes by Albert Einstein. The widget, after installation of the extension, can be located here:
• CMS > Widgets

The widget is preconfigured to be displayed at the top of a CMS Home Page. To create a new quote widget, go to:
• CMS > Widgets > Add New Widget Instance
Set Type "Random Quote" and appropriate "Design / Package Name".

Then, enter necessary data and, most importantly, specify Layout Updates to make it clear where Magento should display the widget.
• Widget Instance > Frontend Properties > Layout Updates
